Frustration for the Spireites, they struggled to break down a very strong defensive Southend side. The only way the Spireites were going to concede was through a mistake, the ball was lost in midfield, Tomlin who looked dangerous throughout capitalised on the error. The Spireites failed to create enough chances, although they kept producing some good build up play, they failed to produce the killer pass. They didn't deserve to lose, I suppose they were punished for being too attacking.
