The Spireites face a team in top form when they take on Burton. The Brewers have won 6 out of their last 8 matches, they are fourth in the table. They also have a great home record, having won 14, drawn 3 and lost 2. They are a physical side that play direct football, although they don't have a big budget they play to their strengths and they have built a tight unit that are well organised.

Vital Quotes:

Cook told the official website:'Gary has done a really good job. He's got good people working with him. He has fantastically good players, the clubs well run and it all goes well for them. They are in a great position at the minute and they want to see it through.

'They've got the fire power and players who score goals. They have good defenders so it adds up. All the ingredients are there for everyone to see.

'We're going to have an open game with Burton and we're going to try and score some goals and win the game.

Burton Albion Team News:

Forward Michael Symes is expected to return to the Brewers squad after missing the draw at Daggers two weeks ago. Calvin Zola should also be fit after recovering from hip and hamstring problems. Aaron Webster has resumed training after his hamstring issue while fellow defender Nathan Stanton is fit again following a knee problem. Midfielder Lee Fowler will go straight into the squad after arriving on Thursday from Doncaster on-loan.

Player to watch: Jacques Maghoma

Midfielder Maghoma has been in sensational form this season, scoring 14 goals and 10 assists. He has played a big part in their promotion claims.

Chesterfield Team News:

A late fitness test for forward Gnanduillet ahead of the short trip to Burton, he has been struggling with an abductor problem for the last three weeks, but the club are hopeful he will be back contention for this game. Midfielder Craig Clay is available after recovering from a double hernia operation. Left back Nathan Smith is out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.

Player to watch: Jay O'Shea

Jay O'Shea has been in tremendous form in recent weeks, he likes to play just behind the loan striker, he can create chances and score goals.

Match Facts & Stats

The Spireites have not won at Burton in the League although they have only played them twice, drawing 2-2 and then losing 1-0 the last time they visited the Pirelli.

The Brewers record taken from the first half of the season, they had scored from 14 shots from outside of the box, from 8 different players. I don't think the Spireites have had that many shots on goal from outside the box.

They had also scored the most goals from direct free kicks in league 2.

Ref Watch:

Lee Collins is in charge of this game, this will be the first time he has refereed a game involving the Spireites this season. Although he has refereed a match involving the Brewers when they lost 4-1 at Gillingham, booking 3 players. The last time he was in charge of a game involving the Spireites was their 3-2 defeat last season at Wycombe, booking 2 players. In 21 games this season he has given out 64 yellows and 8 reds.

Match Prediction:

I'm going to go for a 2-0 win for Burton Albion because I feel they have a really strong team and a very good home record. Although the Spireites are putting a really good team together they are not quite the finished article.

Next Fixtures:

Another tough game for the Spireites when they face High flying Port Vale at the Proact on Easter Monday.
