3-00pm

AFC Wimbledon Visit The Proact

The Spireites take on the bottom club, last time that happened Barnet came and won 1-0. This time AFC Wimbledon are the visitors, they lost their last game, losing 3-0 at Port Vale, before that they drew 3 games in a row. If Chesterfield want to keep their play-off hopes alive they must win today. Although they will have to do it without Darikwa due to having an hernia op next week. Drew Talbot is back after breaking his toe. The Spireites have been performing well in recent weeks, creating lots of chances, it's important they become more clinical in front of goal.

Vital Quotes:

Paul Cook talking to the official website said: 'They're (AFC Wimbledon) bottom of the league with not a lot to lose. We're expected to beat them, we expect to beat them, but our mentality must be right. How we start Saturday is vital. If we start at the right tempo and do the right things it'll become a good afternoon. If we do it at the wrong tempo, we do the wrong things, it'll become a very difficult and uncomfortable afternoon.'

Chesterfield Team News:

The Spireites are without Tendayi Darikwa he needs an hernia operation. Drew Talbot is back after recovering from a broken toe.

Jay O'Shea will be the one to watch he plays just behind Richards, and they're staring to build a good partnership together, he took his chance well at Rochdale and will be a constant threat to the visitors defence.
