'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gnanduillet Signs 2 Year Deal

Armand Gnanduillet who came on trial and impressed that much that he got a contract until the end of the season. It will be a big relief to the fans who were worried after negotiations with his Agency broke down.

Although he needs to work on his fitness, the club have the whole of the summer to do that. So hopefully he will be a much more fresher fitter and stronger player and ready for the start of the 2013/14 season.

He has scored 3 goals from 12 appearances although 8 of them have been as a substitute. He made a big impact at Fleetwood when he came on in the first-half for Brindley, he broke the deadlock scoring with an header and then setting up Richards for the second.

He's become an instant hit with the fans mainly because of his enthusiasm and his extravagant goal celebrations. Who will forget that brilliant individual goal he scored against Bristol Rovers, when he used his skill and ability to leave their defence and goalkeeper stunned.

Although he is still very raw and has a lot to learn, he could play a big role in next seasons promotion campaign. because of his height and his aerial ability defences struggle to cope with him, plus he is hard to read, you never know what he is going to do.

Lee Payne, head of Full Contract's Football Agency said:'He is a true rough diamond, but with the support and guidance that Chesterfield can now give him I am excited about seeing what he can deliver.'

I think us fans are also very excited, can't wait to see him improve and develop throughout the next 2 seasons.

Thank you Armand for choosing to stay with the Spireites, I'm already looking forward to next season.
