'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ivory Coast U-20 International signed

Armand recently had a trial with the Spireites, after playing in France for 2 seasons. He played for Le Havre II making 25 appearances and scoring 2 goals, he then signed for another French club Poissy. He made 11 appearances and scored 5 goals for the French side.

Paul Cook has signed the Ivorian until the end of the season. There's no arguing that the club mean business having signed their fourth player in the January transfer window, having already signed Liam Cooper, Jay O'Shea and Richard Brindley. The team definitely need height in attack and Armand being 6ft 4' gives us that height.

You could say that Cook as added his own spine to the team, Having signed Tommy Lee on a long term contract, centre defender Liam Cooper, midfielder Jay O'Shea and now Forward Armand Gnanduillet.

The fans were hopeful that the club might sign a couple of players, maybe a few loan players, never in our wildest dreams did we expect the club to sign 4 players with all of them being given contracts.

The club have definitely given Paul Cook the support and backing he needs to make the Spireites a successful team and hopefully gain promotion this season to League 1.

So welcome Armand to our club, we look forward to seeing you play in a Spireite shirt. Thanks for signing for our club and I'm sure it will not belong before we are chanting your name, once we have worked out how to pronounce it.
