'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will The Spireites Sign The Green Messi.

Eoin Doyle dubbed 'The Green Messi' by Sligo Rovers fans is currently playing for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League. He Played for Cook at Sligo Rovers, helping Cook win 3 Trophies.

In 2011/12 season Cook moved him to the Centre Forward position, which saw him score 20 goals in 34 games. He then went on to play for Hibernian, playing only 13 games and scoring one goal in his first season. This is his second season and he has scored 5 goals from 17 appearances.

In his younger days he played for Republic of Ireland at under 15 level. At the time he was tipped to make a move into English Football within the next few years because the coaches believed he was good enough to make a name for himself in England.

Sadly he has never played in England, maybe cook will give him that chance, and maybe the 24 year old might want to link up with his old boss. We will just have to wait until January and see who Cook brings in.
