'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Give Tommy Wright A Little More Time.

The divided and restless are circulating again at the Proact, why I ask, we have just signed an ex premiership player (welcome Luis Boa Morte) this week and personally I don't think we are playing that bad.

It goes back to the old adage 'managers need time', not only to get used to his new promotion (Tommy used to be coach, he's now caretaker manager), but the team need to adhere to his new training and formation policies that he implements.

I have noticed straight away that since Tommy has taken the reigns he certainly isn't afraid of changing formations or indeed personnel mid match in an attempt to get the right result, I know my opinion doesn't count for much but I personally think he'll get it right.

Certain sections or individual fans have no interest in giving him time, all they want is a big name or an town icon (Sean Dyche, take a bow). Yes fair comment if Sean manages like he used to play he'll certainly do for me. The problem is though, the man himself has said 'he needs a rest' after being cast aside at Watford.

I at this point ask one question and only ask for constructive answers not abuse. What exactly has Tommy done wrong?

A final note I have to add because it berates me, I have heard the unrest recently extend to Dave Allen, 'Allen out' was a cry. We wouldn't be playing at the Proact if Mr Allen hadn't put up our shortfall for the ground (£4 million plus I believe) and he is pushing the club forward, we are now on a firm footing both financially and commercially. I also gaurantee the likes of Elton John or the England u19s and u21s would not have graced Saltergate, as I remember Aswad was the only stars to shine at Saltergate.

Finally all I ask is for us all from the chairman right down to the 5 year old going to his first match to unite as one and together we'll move our great team forward and up the leagues.

Just to had to what Stand Up as put, nicely put by the way. A lot of the fans are comparing him to Sheridan, because he worked under Sheridan. Which I feel is wrong, he has done things differently, he encourages them instead of putting them down. Results have improved under Tommy and they will continue too, if he is given enough time. Get behind him and give him your support.
