Spireites team news for trip to Aldershot

Club Captain Sam Hird is among a number of players carrying knocks from the midweek defeat at Morecambe. Hird hurt his nose and neck after a collision with former Spireites keeper Roche. Boden should be in the squad after a minor groin injury, the young striker is fit, but short of match practice.

Tommy Wright will be looking for a good performance from the team after a woeful second half display at Morecambe. After tasting his first defeat as Caretaker Manager he will need to show the Board why he is still a firm Candidate for the Job.

The players need to show character,commitment and belief. The fans deserve better,it wasn't the defeat that upset us. it was the performance, they were second best in all departments in the second half. Constantly losing the ball and chasing shadows. They were very lucky it wasn't a bigger scoreline.

Come on Spireites show Aldershot what you can do and what you are made of, make the fans proud to be Spireites.
