Chesterfield Sign Ex Blade Scott Boden
The Spireites have signed young striker Scott Boden on a short term contract. Boden is another product of the fine Blades Academy that has also produced the likes of Lloyd Kerry in the past year.
Sheffield United released Boden in the summer, and he has since been playing his football away from English soil in Finland. Boden featured as a sub in last night's Carling Cup defeat away at the Deepdale.
Chesterfield's manager Lee Richardson told BBC Radio Sheffield: 'He has showed up well in pre-season and we have been impressed with his attitude and his play.'
